The footage emerged after Ms Barnes was arrested during chaotic scenes outside Bethel Street in 2023. Once the camera was returned to her and she saw the footage, Ms Barnes launched a 17-aspect complaint. Ms Barnes, however, has now launched a judicial review of the police watchdog’s handling of the case. She is also seeking action against Norfolk Constabulary for wrongful arrest, malicious prosecution, assault and battery, and trespass to goods. A Norfolk Constabulary spokeswoman said: "We know that some of the content currently being shared will undermine public confidence in policing.
