Article contentA motorcyclist was killed after hitting an object on Fourth Line near Caledonia on Wednesday. Haldimand OPP said they were called to the collision at about 12:25 p.m., along with emergency responders from fire and medical services. Police said the biker was ejected after hitting the object but declined to say, at this point, what it was on the road. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and 4th Line was closed at McKenzie Road and Haldimand Road 9. The road was expected to remain closed for several hours in order to complete the investigation, being done by the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
