The victims, identified as Ahmadu and Umaru, were reportedly killed when suspected gunmen invaded the settlement at about 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25. During the attack, about 40 cattle belonging to members of the association were also allegedly slaughtered. As of the time of filing this report, the Enugu State Police Command had not officially confirmed the incident or announced any arrests.
