Popular Oxford pub moves forward new refurbishment project proposal

Greene King-owned The Port Mahon in St Clements has put a new planning application into Oxford City Council for a redesign of its exterior.
With the consultation running until August 21, it will see replacement signs for the pub, including a new picture sign, as well as an upgraded door plaque and replacement lanterns.

Before that relaunch, the pub was best known as a live music venue, but following that project it became more focused on drinks and food.
Now, if plans are approved, the pub will be getting a further upgrade.
