Vishavjeet Sodhi, 46, from Dartnell Court, West Byfleet, Surrey, admitted driving without due care and attention, exceeding the 70 mph speed limit and failing to stop for a traffic officer while driving a Polestar on the M40 at Banbury on May 14 this year.

The court arranged for Sodhi to pay the total amount in £300 monthly instalments, starting August 19.
The court endorsed Sodhi’s driving record with five penalty points for the combined offences.
The court stated that a guilty plea had been taken into account when deciding the size of the fine.
