Call for action as dangerous Oxford junction on the brink of causing an accident

Around 40 residents are campaigning for a safer junction at Rose Hill, Henley Avenue, and Church Cowley Road in Oxford.
This came following the presentation of a petition to the council, signed by almost 600 locals, calling for improvements.
There were also speeding vehicles, motorists taking shortcuts down the slip road to bypass the lights, alongside motorists and cyclists ignoring red traffic signals from all three roads.

This led to residents expressing frustration about council investments they deemed wasteful, emphasising that road safety measures should prevent collisions before they occur rather than respond after the most severe incidents.
