The donation comes from the latest round of support from the Hendy Foundation, based in Eastleigh, which has distributed funds across the south, including to charities in Hampshire. Making Space supports adults with complex health and social care needs, while Off The Record offers free mental health support to young people and their families. Six other charities across the south also received funding. The Hendy Foundation has donated more than £420,000 to more than 320 charities since its launch in 2018 and now aims to surpass a milestone of £500,000 by the end of 2026.
