The Disney Dream received a perfect score of 100 following an inspection by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Vessel Sanitation Program on May 2, 2026.
Inspectors identified a range of issues, including fruit flies and house flies in food preparation areas, leaking drinks machines, food handlers touching ready-to-eat food with their bare hands, standing water, damaged flooring and problems with dishwashing ventilation.

The report also highlighted concerns over record-keeping linked to vomiting incidents and the isolation of a crew member suffering symptoms of acute gastroenteritis.
Despite the findings, the vessel achieved the maximum score under the CDC's inspection programme, which assesses cruise ships calling at US ports.
