Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government is committed to empowering minority youth through quality education, skill development, and employment opportunities, Minority Welfare Minister N.M.D.
Farooq underlined while inaugurating the new Centre for Educational Development of Minorities (CEDM) at Vaddeswaram near Mangalagiri on Wednesday.
The minister alleged that the previous government had neglected educational and employment training for minority youth.
However, the present coalition government is focusing not only on the education of minority youth but also on coaching for competitive examinations, skill development, and career guidance.
Government Adviser for Minority Welfare Mohammad Ahmad Sharif said CEDM could significantly improve minority representation in government jobs.
