Now, following a reexamination of the evidence, those incidents have been reclassified as murders, and the suspect spouse is under renewed scrutiny. Gresham Police detectives have been in contact with their counterparts from the Louisville Metro Police Department in Kentucky. That reexamination of the evidence and her injuries led the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office to declare the Gresham death a homicide. The case has now been reopened, and Gresham detectives are in communication with the team in Kentucky.
