An agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was on scene at Leslie City Hall on July 29. Leslie Mayor Corey Capone was also on scene and answered questions about a recent scrap metal sale by the City. The City of Leslie received a 10% cut. Capone stated that the scrap, old water meters, were blocking the fire department vehicles. Capone stated that processing the metal took labor, resulting in a low price for the City.
