Americus Times-Recorder
An agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was on scene at Leslie City Hall on July 29.
Leslie Mayor Corey Capone was also on scene and answered questions about a recent scrap metal sale by the City.
The City of Leslie received a 10% cut.
Capone stated that the scrap, old water meters, were blocking the fire department vehicles.
Capone stated that processing the metal took labor, resulting in a low price for the City.
