On July 27, 2000, Ms. Hanlon was found deceased in the bedroom of her apartment at 130 North Erwin Street in Cartersville. At the time of her death, Patricia Hanlon was employed at Lacey Mills in Cartersville. “This case remains a priority for our agency,” said Cartersville Police Chief Kevin Cloninger. Memories fade, circumstances change, and people who may have been reluctant to speak in the past may now be willing to come forward. Investigators believe there are individuals who may have information about Patricia Hanlon’s murder that have yet to come forward.
