The SGA, in partnership with the Alabama Panhellenic Association, announced a fan color schedule for the student section encouraging students to wear specific colors for certain games on Monday. The Instagram post from the SGA announcing the schedule has since been deleted. In one post on X, Alabama Barstool posted “Game is gone” in response to the schedule, referencing former English soccer manager Sean Dyche’s take on modern game traditions and culture. Traditionally, Alabama hasn’t needed off-the-field marketing strategies to draw in fans, leading many fans to oppose this new dress code.
