Alabama football nabbed its seventh commitment of the 2028 cycle on Sunday after four-star linebacker Tysir Young announced his pledge to the Crimson Tide. He is the third linebacker to commit to Alabama in the 2028 class and is also the fourth four-star prospect to do so. Alabama football is on a tear in the 2028 recruiting class. Five-star receiver Monshun Sales — who grew up a fan of the Crimson Tide — pledged to the reigning national champion, Indiana. Still, the Crimson Tide missed out on the Glassboro, New Jersey native’s final four, with him committing to Oregon on July 3.
