Helen E. Kopcik, age 83, of Shelton, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. Helen was born at Park City Hospital in Bridgeport on August 25, 1942 to the late Nicholas and Anna (Feltovich) Kopcik (Kopchik). Helen was a kind, compassionate person who loved people, animals, traveling and the outdoors. Helen leaves behind her nephew Nicholas (Melissa) Kopcik of Newtown, her niece Dawn (Bruce) Adams of Seymour, her nephew, John Savorey of Shelton and several great nephews and a great niece, as well as her long-time friend, Carole Smith of Burlington, VT, whom she shared many an adventure with. She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her sisters, Mary Savorey and Anne Wallace, as well as her brother, Nicholas Kopcik.
