Dr. Aurora Alcantara, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, physician, and devout Catholic, passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by the love of her family. Aurora was born on June 4, 1932, and was raised in the Philippines, carrying her heritage with pride throughout her life. Aurora and Jaime built a beautiful life together as husband and wife, raising four daughters-Jennifer, Aileen, Josephine, and Aurora-whom they adored. Aurora prayed every day, thanking God for her blessings and lifting up her family, both near and far. Aurora was preceded in death by her husband, Jaime Alcantara; her son-in-law, David DeToto; her sister, Teresita Alvarez; and her brother, Meny Fineza.
