John Madzik, age 73 of Beacon Falls, died July 28, 2026 at his residence following a sudden illness. Born in Lubin, Poland on February 13, 1953, he was the son of the late Matthew and Martha Zawodniak Madzik. Mr. Madzik was raised in the Village of Zimna Woda, Poland, until the age of eight. Instilled with conservative family values and a strong work ethic, John worked at Stop & Shop of Derby throughout high school and college, where he made many friends and lasting relationships. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his aunt & uncle, John and Emilia Kuzmicz Madzik.
