AUGUSTA – Jody Leigh Griffin, 74, of Augusta, passed away on June 24, 2026, following a long illness. Jody was born in Augusta on Dec. 19, 1951, to William E. and Joan Shaw Griffin. She is survived by her husband James Carter; son Lucas Griffin; grandchildren, Lucas Griffin Jr. and Honey Griffin.
