A new Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini and an AI-powered smart home hub are reportedly near launch and expected to be in homes later this year. The launch is expected to coincide with Apple’s upgraded Siri AI, which will become the centrepiece of the company’s smart home strategy after previous delays pushed back the hardware rollout. The next-generation Apple TV 4K is tipped to feature a more powerful processor capable of supporting Apple Intelligence features locally. As the trend toward AI integrated features and displays continues, a new Apple smart home hub is also tipped to launch soon. If the reports are true, Apple’s smart home hub, which is a device expected to sit somewhere between an iPad, HomePod and smart display system, could revolutionise the way Apple’s smart devices work together and operate.
