Shares Hammered Despite Sales LiftThe supply crisis overshadowed an otherwise strong result, with Logitech shares tumbling 11.66% after hours to $98.64, traders pointing directly to the semiconductor supplier problem and the closure of the key manufacturing facility. Overnight the Company reported quarterly sales of US$1.23 billion, up 7%, a figure that included $61 million in tariff refunds. GAAP operating income surged 60% to $259 million, while non-GAAP operating income rose 44% to $290 million. The Company has also declined to say whether rising component costs will force up prices on Logitech goods in the future. Overall APAC sales rose 5%, helped by strong execution with key retail partners in the region, while Faber said the Company gained roughly 220 basis points of share in personal workspace across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
