Google is about to announce its next smartwatch, and at this point, Google itself seems to be the company’s biggest leak problem. The Pixel Watch 5 isn’t official yet, but it has already turned up as a selectable device inside Google’s own Health app, weeks before the planned announcement. Back in June, a scuba diver near the Caribbean island of St. Martin reportedly pulled an unreleased Pixel Watch 5 off the ocean floor, still showing the correct time. It reuses artwork from last year’s Pixel Watch 4, and Google hasn’t shared any real specs or features through the leak. Google has already locked in its next hardware event for August 12 in New York, where the Pixel Watch 5 is expected to launch alongside the new Pixel 11 phones.
