Applications for the Net Zero Technology Centre’s (NZTC) ninth iteration of the TechX accelerator programme have opened for start-ups. However, it is open to start-ups focusing on lowering emissions and delivering the energy transition from any sector. “But we’re really broad, and we’re looking for the technologies that have the closest alignment to that energy transition mission.” The TechX acceleration manager explained “it’s up to the applicants” what areas of the energy transition they target. The £600,000 accelerator initiative will be delivered from ETZ EnergyWorks, the Energy Transition Zone’s flagship innovation and incubation facility.
