RWE, the largest offshore wind operator in the UK, expects to make €1.3 billion (£1.1bn) of profit in the first half of 2026. The company said that expects to close the first six months of the year with an adjusted EBITDA of €3bn and adjusted earnings per share of €1.77, exceeding market expectations. In particular, RWE expects offshore wind to produce €810 million of adjusted EBITDA in the first half of 2026, compared with €643 million in the prior-year period. In addition, RWE is raising its full-year 2026 guidance for the segment by €100m, to range between €1.65bn and €2.15bn. RWE chief financial officer Michael Müller said: “Our preliminary results for the first half of 2026 exceeded market expectations.
