CB&I’s Asset Solutions has won work from Cosmo E&P Albahriya in the United Arab Emirates to support work on Offshore Block 4. The well engineering services work will support drilling, engineering, planning and operational activities it said. Japan’s Cosmo won the offshore block in Abu Dhabi’s second bid round, in 2021. The CB&I unit said the deal strengthened its position in the Middle East and underpinned new relationships. Key supplierThe Cosmo unit is wholly owned by Cosmo Energy, Japan’s third largest refiner.
