AragonesIndia-West News DeskLOS ANGELES, CA- Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is returning to Netflix with ‘Best of the Best,’ a new film co-written and produced by Hasan Minhaj and directed by Lena Khan. Netflix has unveiled the first look at the film and announced that it will premiere on September 18. Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia play childhood friends Maya and Anjali, who join UCLA’s Bollywood-fusion dance team in pursuit of the U.S. Championship. ‘Best of the Best’ marks Ramakrishnan’s first live-action Netflix project since ‘Never Have I Ever’ concluded in 2023. She most recently lent her voice to Netflix’s animated film ‘The Twits’ before returning to a live-action role with the upcoming feature.
