Spread the wordThe Jigawa state government is set to implement a consolidated, prosperous, inclusive, and resilient development plan across the 27 local government areas of the state.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Garba Hanon Giwa, stated this Tuesday at the Council Chamber, Government House, Dutse, during the unveiling of the development plans.
“Their collective contributions have ensured that the priorities contained in these plans truly reflect the aspirations and developmental needs of our people,” he stated.
For the first time, every local government area in Jigawa state has a structured five-year development framework aligned with the Jigawa State Development Plan, national development priorities, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He said the plans will serve as practical roadmaps for budgeting, investment prioritisation, project implementation, monitoring, and performance evaluation at the local level.
