The University of Rochester Medicine Clinical & Translational Science Institute has landed more than $29 million in new federal funding. The center has received over $157 million in grants for translational research across two decades. “The CTSI team supports our academic and clinical missions by accelerating lab discoveries to bedside implementation and promoting team science. The latest influx of research dollars came from the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences and the Clinical and Translational Science Awards Program. “The University of Rochester is a national leader in research that improves human health,” President Sarah Mangelsdorf says.
