“It gets more upsetting every court date because it’s annoying how it keeps getting postponed or adjourned, and he’s just walking out every court date,” Berman told amNewYork.
Berman said the incident unfolded inside her apartment on March 22, 2025, when the suspect, Christopher Joseph, allegedly told her that he was “obsessed” with her.
Just 22 years old at the time, the young mother spent 48 days in the hospital recovering from her injuries.
Joseph attended the court hearing with his mother Wednesday but yet again was granted his freedom.
