A disused site in Bridge of Don will soon be turned into a new technology test centre in a bid to boost Aberdeen’s transition to net zero. Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) bosses want to transform the former Weatherford Evaluation Centre in the Aberdeen Science and Energy Park. Planning papers show the new testing hub will be erected adjacent to the Rental Technology and Services (RTS) building. Their main goal has been to speed up the country’s energy transition, supporting more than 130 start-up projects across the north-east and further afield.
