Philip J. JohnsonVershire, VT – Philip J. Johnson, 83 died Saturday, July 25, 2026 at his home in Vershire, VT. He was born December 26, 1942 in West Fairlee, VT, the son of Philip G. and Pearl R. (Bailey) Johnson. He attended school in West Fairlee, Vershire and later Thetford Academy. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Carol Johnson, two sons, Jeffrey Johnson and Richard J. Johnson all of Vershire, VT; a daughter, Penny Hardy of Norwich, VT; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Arvilla Towle and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Torrey Philip Fifield and a brother, Richard Johnson.
