Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...Funding from Polk County Community Foundation will support Train Tales and depot preservation projectsSALUDA—The Saluda Depot Museum has received two grants from the Polk County Community Foundation to support educational programming and facility improvements. The first grant will fund the museum’s monthly Train Tales program, while the second, an Amelioration Grant, will help pay for structural improvements to the depot’s decking and surrounding garden areas. The grant will also fund the installation of UVA-blocking blinds inside the museum to help protect exhibits. Museum board members, docents and volunteers expressed their sincere gratitude to the foundation for its continued investment in preserving the depot and expanding its educational offerings.
