Cadillac F1 reserve driver Colton Herta opened up on what has been a rocky first season in F2. Herta made the switch from IndyCar to F2 for one reason — he wants to be a driver in F1 for Cadillac. Naturally, with his former IndyCar team being Andretti, which has ties to Cadillac F1, Herta looks poised for a good look at joining the grid if he shows even decent pace. Rather than thrust him on the grid, the F1 team is easing him in with an adjustment to the European race tracks.
