Swedish luxury fashion brand Acne Studios has officially entered the Malaysian market with the opening of its first standalone store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, marking another step in the company’s expansion across Southeast Asia. The new boutique is operated in partnership with Club 21, the regional luxury retailer that also manages Acne Studios’ operations in Singapore and Taiwan. The opening brings one of Sweden’s best-known contemporary fashion brands to Malaysia for the first time. The Malaysian launch comes as international luxury brands continue to expand in Southeast Asia, attracted by rising consumer spending and growing demand for premium fashion. While Swedish companies have long been well represented in sectors such as furniture, telecommunications and automotive manufacturing, fashion brands are also steadily increasing their presence across the region.
