Air China will launch a new route connecting Beijing, Copenhagen and Reykjavik on 26 October 2026, creating a direct air link between the Chinese capital and Iceland via Denmark.
The airline said the route is intended to improve connectivity for both business and leisure travellers while supporting tourism and trade between China and Northern Europe.
For Copenhagen Airport, the addition further strengthens its position as Scandinavia’s leading international aviation hub.
The airport already serves as an important transfer point between Asia and the Nordic countries, and the new Air China service adds capacity on one of the region’s key long-haul markets.
