Details: Nothing says summer fun quite like splashing in water. Students in the RCSD’s Extended School Year program will beat the heat and celebrate their summer learning with a hands-on Water Day at Nathaniel Hawthorne School No. Water Day consists of 8 stations set up throughout the school’s courtyard, with students rotating through each 12-minute activity. Featured stations include an inflatable water slide, water balloons, sensory water play, a water relay, and a dunk tank. The ESY program serves PreK–12 students with 12-month Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) who benefit from continued academic and social engagement throughout the summer.
