Disney+ has greenlit “House of Fates,” a spinoff of the record-breaking Korean competition series “Battle of Fates,” from the original show’s producer and writer. The new series, shot on location in Korea, is fronted by the three top-placing fate readers from “Battle of Fates,” joined at points by other contestants from the original cast. The format sends its participants around the country to sites tied to Korean spiritual practice, where they take in ceremonies, regional customs and communal meals. “House of Fates” is the first spinoff greenlit by Disney+ since the original series premiered. Disney+ has not yet revealed a release date for “House of Fates.”
