Why the Old Rates Were RetiredThe previous benchmark, Valuation Ruling No. 1887-1-2024, had determined Customs values for mobile accessories under Section 25A of the Customs Act, 1969. And the computed value method under Section 25(8) was ruled out too, due to the unavailability of manufacturer pricing.
