Lancashire County Council has issued a modification order that will alter the definitive map and statement for the area. A new path will be added from the same starting point to join a footpath in a pasture. Those wishing to view a copy of the order and the order map can do so at Chorley Borough Council offices and at the county council offices on weekdays from 9am to 5pm. If no objections are made, or if they are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the order itself rather than submitting it to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
