The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has launched investigations into the fatal shooting of Dr Victoria Nthunya Mutiso, which occurred on the morning of July 29 in the Upper Hill area of Nairobi. According to DCI, Dr Mutiso was shot in unclear circumstances in what seems like a targeted attack, barely a year after a similar attack resulted in the death of Kasipul MP Ong'ondo Were. Reports indicate Mutiso was gunned down after a gunman on a motorbike opened fire on the taxi she was travelling in.
