GODERICH – It’s a victory in more ways than one for the Port of Goderich. In July 2028, Goderich will welcome the Victory II cruise ship to its harbour, bringing nearly 200 passengers to town. Article contentOne of the strongest advocates in bringing cruise ships to the town is Goderich Port Management Corporation president Frank Hurkmans, who says getting Goderich as a port of call has always been the plan. “Cruise ships have always been part of our expanded vision for the growth of the Port of Goderich,” he said. Hurkmans still remembers the last time a cruise ship docked in Goderich, but unfortunately for the town, the passengers had other plans.
