The Northwest Arkansas Council will host an August event that builds on the regional growth strategy that it released earlier this year. The public is invited to attend the Growing Home NWA event with Monte Anderson, a nationally recognized developer, speaker and educator. Building Northwest Arkansas, One Project at a Time will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Event Center at Fayetteville Public Library. His award-winning projects include the Belmont Hotel, Texas Theatre, Tyler Station and the ongoing redevelopment of Wheatland Plaza in Duncanville. The Aug. 26 event is expected to build on the Growing Home regional growth strategy released in April that provides a vision for accommodating the region’s growth while preserving quality of life.
