Lockport, NY - James W. Currie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 26th, 2026. Born on July 29th,1941 in Detroit, Michigan, Jim was the son of the late John and Marjorie (Cookson) Currie. Jim is survived by his wife Mary Currie; sons David (Paula) Currie, Stephen (Teresa Burk) Currie, Andrew (Angela) Currie; and grandchildren Isabella, Sophia, Josephine, and Justin Currie as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday 3-6 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 1st at 10 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church Street, Lockport.
