Xiao Mei and Xiao Bao, born at Amazon World Zoo Park on the Isle of Wight, have moved to Parc de l’Auxois in France. Their relocation is part of an international conservation breeding programme under the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) Ex-situ Programme (EEP). Amazon World Zoo Park has participated in EAZA conservation schemes for more than 20 years. Amazon World Zoo Park plans to welcome a new female red panda soon to join Flint and continue their breeding efforts.
