Volunteers serving more than 5000 hot meals to Police at Glasgow Commonwealth Games

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT), made up of volunteers from the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, is supporting officers in Glasgow during the Commonwealth Games with more than 5000 hot meals.
RRT volunteers at the Commonwealth Games (Image: Contributed)Gavin Steven, RRT local team leader, said: "We are honoured to be returning at the Commonwealth Games this year to be supporting Police Scotland officers, staff and volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everyone safe throughout the event.
In addition to hot meals, RRT is distributing 7500 welfare packs and 1500 cold meal grab bags.

RRT also supported officers during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
