We previously reported that the thug had stolen a handbag from a resident of Mansion Street in Possilpark on Tuesday, July 21 right outside their front door. He failed to make it out with the goods though as the handbag was later recovered and returned to its owner. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Tuesday, 21 July, 2026, we received a report of a robbery outside a property in the Mansion Street area of Glasgow. “A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection. He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 23 July.”
