A £1,000 fixed penalty notice has now been issued after the fly-tipping incident on Main Lane near Kenyon Hall Farm in Croft. The quick actions of the witness and environmental crime officers led to the identification of the offender, who was made to return to the site and remove the waste. The case was resolved by way of a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN), which is an alternative to court proceedings. "This case highlights not only the importance of public reporting but also the proactive approach taken by our environmental crime officers." "Together, we can help keep Warrington clean and tackle environmental crime," an environmental crime spokesperson said.
