The challenge will support 1st Bistre Scout Group, which welcomes young people from Squirrels and Beavers through to Cubs, Scouts and its Fusion Explorer Unit. However, the group’s current Scout hut requires extensive repairs, prompting efforts to raise money for a new, modern building that can continue serving future generations. Since joining the group six years ago, Morgan said the Scout hut has been at the centre of those experiences. “To help raise money towards a new and improved Scout hut, I’ve decided to challenge myself by walking the Three Peaks. This will be the biggest challenge I have ever taken on, but I know it will be worth it if it helps support my Scout group.”
