DeKalb County will purchase a new ambulance thanks to a $305,461 state grant. “So we’re just showing that we’re doing a budget amendment because originally we didn’t have this because it didn’t pass at the time.” Adcock said the county has already completed the bidding process for the vehicle through its purchasing committee. Adcock said the budget amendment was the final step required to move the funds into place so the purchase could be finalized. “It’s gonna be spent on an ambulance and an emergency cot that goes in the ambulance,” Adcock said.
