Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) has wrapped its first Australian trade roadshow, using stops in Perth and Melbourne to unveil a new heritage pass, a Scoot partnership offering discounted attraction entry, and a longer-term plan to double the island’s visitor capacity.
The roadshow, held on 27 and 29 July, drew around 200 travel advisors and brought together Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Oceania, Scoot and seven Sentosa attraction partners.
Addison Goh, divisional director, business & experience development at SDC, said Australian travellers were increasingly looking for more than a day trip.
Scoot boarding pass offerFrom August, Scoot passengers flying from Australia to Singapore can present their boarding pass for discounts of up to 50 per cent, or complimentary entry, at participating Sentosa attractions.
Looking further ahead, SDC used the roadshow to spotlight the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, which will integrate the island with the 120-hectare Brani over the next two decades.
