Australia recorded the largest increase in antisemitic incidents among the world’s seven biggest Jewish diaspora communities between 2021 and 2025. Australia recorded 1,654 incidents in its latest reporting period, compared with 447 in 2021. It identified the threat of further violence as the most urgent challenge facing the Australian Jewish community. The report said many Australian Jews felt vulnerable, abandoned and uncertain of their place in the country. Australia did not record the largest total number of incidents or the highest rate per Jewish resident.
